Car Carrier

When I was out to Spice Bazaar yesterday, it was windy cold and snowing and this Ferryboat captain was having very difficult time in docking. I was glad, my car was not on that Ferry. Normally, with weather like that, the Ferryboats would be canceled. But somehow, not yesterday.

What a dramatic picutre. It looks cold and very windy. I am glad I'm in my warm sitting room with a hot cup of tea.

Is that ferry carrying people over Bosphorus? Would you sometimes explain differences between these two parts of Istanbul nowadays, please?

Have a nice week, Oya !

All I can think of is a quote from Seinfeld: "The sea was angry that day, my friends" ;-)
Stay warm!

Thanks for coming to my party, especially with all those travel complications ;-)

Looking very precarious that ferry but I'm sure it's made to withstand that kind of weather!

Picture looks a bit scary. That isn't the best angle to approach the dock. Good action shot.

I wish we had one like that here so we could take our cars to the other islands!!! I guess maybe the ocean is too rough for that.

maybe he was a very good captain and was brave enough to get to the sea in this weather:)

Haiz Oya! Thanks for leaving your links behind via commments. Here I am visiting your pleasant site again.
Yes... I am not only interesting to visit your site but also Istanbul. If I ever got the chance, do buy me good food when I visit! :)
Take care, Oya.
