Oya I heard about what happened today (yesterday) in Istambul and the old house that collapsed, that's a pity... I'm sorry to hear those kind of news.
Clamping by local authority for illegal parking or simpley a breakdown? In any event - ouch....!

That really sucks, Interesting way of towing a car. I guess when you aren't towing a big huge SUV you can lift it up!!!

I read in the papers today that a buidling collasped in Instanbul. I hope there weren't too many casualties and bless those who were involved. It was a frightful picture in the papers.

Yikes....I wonder how much money it costs to bail your car out in Istanbul?
At least they are very careful with the car. In NYC, they just hook the front, lift it up and tow it away. Sometimes, the back of the cars are destroyed from hanging too low on the ground.
Kuanyin, there is a cost around $50-$70. Not pleasenet :)
are you serious - the car is being lifted away? We get our cars towed not lifted like that - oh my gosh , this is so weird and funny in an unfortunate way for the owner - it usually cost $100 or more U.S. dollars to get a car once its been towed to the lot.
