Walking in Beyoglu

I have mentioned several times, that Beyoglu/Taksim is a very old neighborhood and almost all buildings are historical.
Well, I can not tell that this one is old...In fact it is brand new. But they made this original painting ( or photograph) on their wall, showing the same place in old times. Maybe 50-60 years ago.
I found that very nice.
Hope you enjoy it...

Nice idea to remind people how it used to look, only 60 years ago...
But you must enlarge to see the two-faced man on the right ;-)

What a wonderful idea to remind people of a time that is gone...

So the trams are also gone? This mural is permanent?

Very nice murals showing history in an interesting way. I wonder if many people ever stop and really look at them. Photography helps a person be more observent.

This is a very different view of Isanbul than what we've been seeing. Very interesting!

Yes, at least they try to conserve the old essence here...

That's a neat idea that I don't think I've come across before.
