Turkish Flag

The Turkish flag has a complex origin since it is an ancient design.
It is practically identical to the last flag of the Ottoman Empire, which was adopted in 1844, apart from a few proportional standardizations.
I like to sit at the terminal and look at all the ships passing by the Bosphorus.
With all their different flags and colors....

Beautiful shot-your flag is all the more colorful when displayed with the blue backdrop.

Oh, goodie, are we going for a boat ride?

I'm feeling a little sea sick.
The flag does look great against that blue background.

The red of the flag against the blue is lovely. The wind has caught the flag in a nice composition.

that must be fun to ride a boat - it sounds like you do this as part of a regular commute?
