I know, this looks wild.... There is rice and boiled chickpeas, with a touch of pitted chicken :) And after you eat it, if you get thirsty , you get a glass ( or plastic cup ) of water... I have never tried this. I guess I was never brave enough :)
Well, it's a much healthier alternative than hot dogs or cotton candy... I would be brave enough to try the rice and peas, but I'm afraid that the chicken would be spoiled (in the sun?).
It is a nice photo. I think you might be surprised at some of the food on the streets. I was in Japan in 1953-1956. I loved their osobo soup. And can still taste it in my memories. They sold it in tiny kitchens on wheels in the poorest neighborhoods. I loved it.
I also came to thank you for all of your visits to my blogs. You are a special visitor and I look for your name.

Eh... Street food. It's so appealing but not often safe enough. Me too I don't know if I would be brave enough :-)
Hmmm, sometimes a treasure waiting to be found. Don't know if I would be brave enough to eat it either.
Nice cart though. Very clean looking in the picture.
Life is full of risks, I'd give it a try!
I'm with the majority on this, although the aroma could sway me to give it a try.
Yummy.
This blog is like my own personal National Geographic all about Turkey.. but not once a month, but daily :)
Every day your photos "light" my mood. Thank you for this. I have been 5 times in your amazing city and I cannot stop thinking of my "return" there.
Vicky from Athens
Isabella, I wouldn't try the chicken...
