Wonder why it's called "Million"

That would place it somewhat earlier than IV Century AD !!!

Say Happy Birthday to The Queen in Sydney! http://sydneynearlydailyphot.blogspot.com/

Million in Latin language means 1.000 (not 1.000.000)

(In Italian also mille means one thousand, I think).

It must be distance unit (different than English mile).

"Million" is very probably a misspelling (due to the influence of the english word "million") of the medieval greek word "μίλιον" ("(roman) mile").

IV Century A.D. is a looooong time ago. I'm glad that there are people all over the world who make every attempt to preserve cultural history.

The sign certainly speaks for itself. Are there other signs in Turkish or other languages?
