French Street, opened in summer 2004, is behind Galatasaray High School.
The number of daily visitors is around 6.500.
Heaters on the streets allow the open areas to be used even on cold days.
Promise is a promise,
I will go back there in winter and photograph one more time to compare.

ADORABLE! Looks old for something that's opened in 2004. . . interesting. Oya, is there any part that's old? the buildings? steps? Did this area used to be the old "French" neighborhood? -Eden
Nice photograph. It looks interesting and a nice place to soak up the passing tourists.

This is such a lovely picutre.
One of your best compositions. So full of life and color! Well done!
Anonymous, as far as I know, the stones of the street were arranged by Parisian architects and the gas lamps are from Paris, they are 100 years old. Yes it was an old French neighborhood at early 1900's...
Thanks Oya! Great stuff.
