Sundried Fish

Dried mackarel is usually a companion for Turkish Raki. It should be prepared with vinegar and some herbs, before serving. Price was under a dollar per piece.

That's so interesting! And an amazing mixture, the fish and the Raki... I'll put in on my list of "foods and drinks that i have to try" ;)

Holy mackarel! That sounds good.

The way you framed your shot really caught my eye.

Dried fish...yummy. No really, I love dried fish esp. with a little vinegar and lots of rice.

Hello Oya,
I just had a look at all of your photos. They are wonderful. I particularly liked the Egyptian spices photos. Will pop in whenever time permits and look at your Istanbul. Hope you can pop in to AdelaideDP and have a look at my husband's blogspot sometime too.
