Boat

This little fishing boat was sitting in Golden Horn.
Until the 1980's the Horn was a dumping ground for industrial waste, but has since been cleaned up and the sealife began again. So, it is nice to see this little boats again there.
The Golden Horn is a popular tourist attraction in Istanbul because of its history and beauty.

To me, pictures of boats and the sea always seems very peaceful, it makes me feel very good.
I'm enjoying getting to know Istambul through your eyes a lot. It's fascinating to be able to see and learn about places so far from where we are!
There are several differences between cultures and countries, but I think there are more similarities than we think!

The photos show the Istanbul I had not the chance to see when I was there (due to the snow storm). Thanks for sharing these nice shots. It makes me wish to go back!

I'm so glad to hear the waters are being cleaned and that sealife is returning. That's the way it should be.
Nice post of the charming boat.

Very nice photo of the fishing boat! Initially, I thought it was a small passenger boat to carry people across the river.
