This is an exceptional photograph. The old man is about my age. He looks off in a direction not at you. His shirt is beautiful blue like the sky. His walking stick is really nice and shines. There are many younger people behind him and those pigeons look to be huge or chicken size to me. I don't recall ever seeing any so big. This is a remarkable photograph. I really think you did a good job on it.
I always see these people in the streets hanging aimlessly - at least they seem like aimlessly. I have always wondered what they are doing there - sitting all alone with a small bag and lonely look on their face. I don't know why but it breaks my heart... Seda Istanbul Photo
I like this photo so much me too. It reminds me those old man mostly living in the countruside when they arrive in town and are both: tired and confused. I loved the description of Abraham and Seda too.
One of my favourite pasttimes is sitting people-watching (in cities not my own!) and making up life stories for them! You've done a wonderful job, on photo and story.

Interesting place and so many people in the background. But he is alone and seems to be lost in thoughts.
Nice snap.

Love your psychic ability! :) I like this shot Oya...
This is excellent Oya, such a beautiful portrait. The datails Abraham described are fantastic. A picture full of meaning.

Seda
Istanbul Photo
He is a spiffy dresser! But his shoes are dusty, so I believe that he's done some walking as well...
Everyone's got their own history behind its backs..
He probably enjoyed having his photo taken by a pretty young woman like you! I would have probably gotten rapped with his cane if I tried this. LOL!
Hey, this could be the first of your own "Stranger a Day" series. Check out this blog: http://strangeraday.blogspot.com/
I love his cap. I was thinking of getting one like that but not sure if I will look good or silly with it.
