Nostalgic Tramway - Today
Previously, I had posted about this Nostalgic Tramway.
This photo is taken today.
It is raining, windy and very cold.
We were getting ready for the spring, but winter came back:(

Seems like a photo that would have been taken in Rio in the beginning of the last century, when there used to be cables like this in the streets.
It´s nostalgic and it´s beautiful.
I love the old feel to this shot.
Spring sometimes has a hard time getting started doesn't it?
oh it's a shame the winter came back.. hope it'll get warmer soon, spring is officially coming in a few days time..
lot's of great shots in my absence.. nice to catch up.
That's the way March is where I live: a few warm days make you think Spring is here for good, and then suddenly, Winter comes back. We've been warm all week, but rain mixed with snow is forecast for tomorrow night. That's March.
Weather always play little tricks to us!
That's a nice post, oya, tranvia is so nostalgic! In Madrid we used to have one too, but i didn't exist then! ;) My father told me
i like this tram - it looks quite old!
Quite interestingly we have a similar tram in Lisbon, now a tourist attraction...
I saw this one in Istiklal Caddesi (the street in your photo, I believe), and amazingly there was Portuguese music playing on a shop when I walked by...
Oya,
I love it. You knew I would!
It's also good to know that the street is called Istiklal Caddesi.
I also love the cobblestoned pavement here.
its great to see the variations in terrain between our two cities - we used to have trains - not big ones just small ones but Ive never rode in one since its not working anymore - your city has many interesting landmarks!
